Information
based on the results of athletes’ participation in sporting events
for April 2024

In total, in April 2024, athletes took part in 33 sporting events, of which:
• Training camps in preparation for international competitions – 19 (of which: within the Republic of Kazakhstan – 5, outside the Republic of Kazakhstan – 14).
• Training camps on in-depth medical examination – 3;
• International competitions – 11 (of which: in the Championship – 1, in the World Championship – 1, KM – 1, MS – 8).
Based on the results of participation in international competitions, athletes won 16 medals, of which: gold - 5, silver - 3, bronze - 8.
The total number of athletes sent to training camps and international competitions was 320 athletes (of which: 236 athletes took part in training camps, 84 athletes took part in international competitions).
Athletes took part:
- 12 athletes in the 1st Asian Championship, at which they took 5 prizes: 1st place - 1, 2nd place - 2, 3rd place - 2;
- 5 athletes in 1 World Championship, where no prizes were taken;
- 5 athletes in 1 World Cup, in which they took one third place;
- 10 athletes in the 1st Asian Cup (1st stage), in which they took two first places;

- 52 athletes in 7 international competitions, in which they took 8 prizes: 1st place – 2, 2nd place – 1, 3rd place – 5.

In total, during the period fr om January to April 2024, athletes took part in 88 sporting events, of which:
Training camps in preparation for international competitions - 49 (of which: within the Republic of Kazakhstan - 8, outside the Republic of Kazakhstan - 41).
Training camps on in-depth medical examination – 13;
International competitions - 26 (of which in the Asian Championships - 6, in the World Championships - 2, in the World Cups - 3, MS - 15).

Based on the results of participation in international competitions, athletes won 63 medals, of which: gold - 21, silver - 16, bronze - 26.
The total number of athletes sent to the competition was 419 athletes.
Including those who took part:
- 50 athletes in 6 Asian Championships, at which they took 33 prize places: 1st place – 11, 2nd place – 10, 3rd place – 12;
- 9 athletes in 2 World Championships, wh ere no prizes were taken;
- 17 athletes in 3 World Cups, in which they took one third place;
- 10 athletes in the 1st Asian Cup (1st stage), in which they took two first places;
- 97 athletes in 14 international competitions, in which they took 27 prizes: 1st place – 8, 2nd place – 6, 3rd place – 13.

DEPARTMENT "ROWING"
• From April 16 to 22, according to the SMM calendar for 2024, they took part in the 1st stage of the Asian Cup in Chungju (Korea) (line 5, order No. 21 of 04/11/2024).
Number of participants in the training camp: 10 athletes (Seksen Arslan, Toiganbaev Malik, Aybekov Arystan, Konurbaeva Medina, Fomichev Timur, Melnikov Yaroslav, Shlein Elizaveta, Belonogova Varvara, Boltaeva Milana, Zhakupova Melani) and senior coaches Ibrashev A., Kovalev M.

"SKET SHOOTING" DEPARTMENT
• From April 19 to 29, according to the SMM calendar for 2024, they took part in the World Cup in Doha (Qatar) (line 45, order No. 18 of 04/03/2024).
Number of competition participants: 5 athletes (Aizhan Dosmagambetova, Anastasia Prilepina, Alisher Aisalbaev, Eduard Eshchenko, Diana Sabekova), massage therapist S. Abdulakimova.

YOUTH DIVISION (HIGHWAY)
• According to the SMM calendar for 2024, there was participation in the MS in Maykop (RF) (line 89, order No. 78 of 04/15/2024)
Number of participants: 9 athletes (Kuitenov Murat, Novikov Gleb, Rive Kirill, Galitsky Alexander, Velk Denis, Frunze Roman, Azamatoly Faizolla, Beisenbek Aibyn, Zhantas Karimzhan), senior coach - Ishimov S.M., mechanic - Osipov S.

Kuitenov Murat – 3rd place (criterium), 1st place (group race)
Azamatuly Faizolla – 3rd place (industrial time trial).

DIVISION FOR YOUNG BOYS, GIRLS (TRACK)
• According to the SMM calendar for 2024, there was participation in MS in Brest, Mozyr (Belarus) (line 126, order No. 19 of 04/04/2024; order No. 86 of 04/18/2024).

Results of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019 

In 2019, the Center's athletes took part in 59 international competitions, including 2 world Championships among juniors, 6 Nations Cups among juniors, 4 Asian Championships among juniors and youth, 2 Asian Cups among juniors and youth.  

For the current year, the Center's athletes have fulfilled the standard of Masters of sports of international class and confirmed-9, Masters of sports-24.

This year, the Center has transferred 15 athletes to continental sports clubs and to the NOC.

For reference: 11 athletes to the national Olympic Committee, 4 athletes to continental sports clubs (3 - "Astana city", 1 - "Vino Astana motors").

In 2019, the Center's students won: - 143 medals, including 37 gold, 56 silver, 50 bronze.

In 2018, athletes of the Olympic Cycling Training Center (hereinafter the Center) took part in 23 international competitions, including 2 World Junior Championships, Youth Olympic Games, 6 Junior and Young Nations Cups, 3 Asian Championships among juniors, 4 Asian Cups among juniors and youth. (For reference: in 2017, the Center's athletes competed in 26 international competitions, including in 2 World Championships, 3 Nations Cup among juniors and anders, 2 Asian Cups and 3 Asian Championships among juniors).

For the current year, 8 athletes of the Center fulfilled and confirmed the standard of Masters of Sports of international class (in 2017, 9), 24 - Masters of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan (in 2017, 33), 15 - candidates for the Master of Sports of Kazakhstan (in 2017 - 15) 41 sportsmen of the first category of the Republic of Kazakhstan (in 2017 - 41).

In the outgoing 2018, cyclists of the Center won 105 medals, of which 36 gold, 38 silver and 31 bronze. (For reference: 2017 - 106 medals, of which 38 are gold, 36 are silver, 32 are bronze).

Today, according to the UCI rating, junior athletes (highway) of the Center are in 10th place. (For reference: 2017 - the UCI rating is on the 2nd place)

At the Asian Championships in Myanmar among juniors The first place was taken by D. Pronsky, and M. Kurnosova and the third place was won by M. Kurnosova.

At the Asian Track Championships in Malaysia A.Shapovalova, M. Gridchin took the 2nd place, V.Golov, A.Shapovalova, A.Chugai and R. Dinmukhametov took the 3rd place.

On the Asian Mountain Bike Cup held in the Philippines D.Sergienko and T.Bogdanova took 2nd place.

On the Asian Championships in mountain bike in the Philippines B. Niyazov won the bronze medal.

In Switzerland at the World Track Championships A.Chugai won the 3rd place.

In the Nation Cup in Korea G. Brusensky, E. Fedorov and D. Pronsky won 16 medals, among them 4 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.

At the III Youth Olympic Games in Argentina for the first time in the history of the country, our two cyclists E.Fedorov and G.Brusensky won gold medals.

On the basis of the State Enterprise "Olympic Training Center for Bicycle Sports" (hereinafter referred to as the Center) in 11 directions of cycling there is a year-round preparation of the sports reserve for the national sports teams of the youth and junior teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

As of the beginning of 2018, in 11 teams of the Center, the number of athletes was 120 from 14 regions and cities. Almaty and Astana.

The main goal of the Center is to ensure high efficiency of training and competitive activities, enhance sports skills and successful performance of athletes in international sports arenas.

As a result of the organization of the correct system of training athletes, improving the material, technical, information, medical support and rehabilitation activities in 2017, the athletes of the Center won 106 medals, 38 of them gold, 36 silver and 32 bronze medals. Also the standard of sports masters of international class was performed by 9 sportsmen, masters of sports - 33.

In 2016, the sportsmen of the Center took part in 21 international competitions, including 2 World Junior Championships, 3 Nations Nations Cup among juniors, 3 Asian Junior Championships, 3 Asian Junior Cups compared to the same the period of the previous year for 5 competitions is less (for reference: in 2015 - in 26 international competitions, including 2 World Championships, 4 Nations Nations Cup among juniors, 3 Asian Championships).

The sportsmen of the Center fulfilled the standard of the Masters of Sports of the international class-5 (in 2015-4), the Masters of Sports-13 (in 2015-13), the candidates for the master of sports-11 (in 2015 -11), the first-rank athletes - 38 in 2015, 38).

In 2016 the students of the Center won:

- 77 medals, of which 20 gold, 26 silver, 31 bronze (for reference: 2015 - 58 medals, of which 19 - gold, 13 - silver, 26 - bronze);

In 2016, the team of juniors finished the annual rating of UCI at the 7th place (in 2015, the 11th place).

At the Asian Championships the best performances on the highway race:

In 2015, the students of the Center won:
