HOW WILL KAZAKHSTANIS CELEBRATE NAURYZ IN 2025?
Since 2024, Nauryz Meyrami has been celebrated in a new format — from March 14 to 23. This ten-day celebration is now known as "Nauryznama."
The Nauryznama schedule is as follows:

March 14 – Kórisu Kúni (Day of Greeting): Also known as Amal, this traditional holiday, originally celebrated in the western regions of Kazakhstan, is now observed nationwide.

March 15 – Day of Compassion: A day dedicated to charity, kindness, and good neighborliness.

March 16 – Day of Culture and National Traditions: Focused on promoting culture, art, and national values.

March 17 – Shanyraq Day: Cultural events highlighting family values, exemplary families, and moral education will be held.

March 18 – National Attire Day: Events across the country will promote traditional Kazakh clothing.

March 19 – Day of Renewal: A day to continue the spring tradition of tree planting.

March 20 – National Sports Day: Competitions in traditional Kazakh sports will be held across the country.

March 21 – Day of Solidarity.

March 22 – New Year’s Day: This day marks the traditional celebration of Nauryz with nationwide cultural and sporting events, ethno-villages, and vibrant fairs.
March 14–23 will also be declared the Nauryz Bazaarlyk season, during which large-scale sales and promotions will take place in shops and markets.
March 23, the final day of Nauryz and a symbol of welcoming the New Year, is declared the Day of Purification.
