A roundtable discussion on "The Role of Athletes in the Patriotic Education of Youth and Society" was held at the Astana Olympic Training Center. Psychologist A. Sharipova moderated the meeting. Athletes from the canoeing and kayaking department participated.

During the meeting, participants discussed the role of sport in fostering patriotic values, civic responsibility, and a sense of pride in one's country. The athletes shared their personal views and experiences, noting that determination, discipline, responsibility, and the drive to achieve high results are essential components not only of athletic success but also of personal development.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of representing one's country with dignity in the sports arena. At the end of the meeting, the athletes wrote essays expressing their thoughts on personal responsibility, discipline, patriotism, and the importance of each individual's contribution to the development of their country.
