10.12.2024
A training camp for special physical training for the World Cup in bullet shooting is currently underway in Doha (Qatar). The camp involves 36 athletes, 2 senior coaches, a coach and a massage therapist from the Astana Olympic Training Center. The camp will last until December 25.
Event objectives:
Training at an open shooting range, taking into account weather conditions.
Individual selection of small-caliber cartridges for each barrel, taking into account the characteristics of an open shooting range.
Joint control shooting with the Qatar team, competitive estimates.
Increasing the level of sportsmanship.
Strengthening teamwork between athletes from different regions.
Work on increasing stress resistance (participation in tournaments, finals, shooting for results as assigned by the coach).
Improving physical endurance (long-term holding of a weapon in a ready position, high workload during the day).
Vitamin supplementation of athletes taking into account intensive loads.
Daily work with the team's massage therapist, individual approach to each athlete.
Daily training in the fitness room on cardio machines.
Thus, athletes prepare for the World Cup in conditions as close as possible to the competition, and undergo comprehensive training to achieve high results.
