IN THE “MY SPORTS STORY” FEATURE — CYCLIST BRALIN MANSUR
Bralin Mansur entered sports at the invitation of his classmate. From an early age, he showed a keen interest in speed and adrenaline, which later became the foundation of his conscious decision to pursue professional development in his chosen sport.
The initial stage of his athletic journey was challenging, as it required adapting to intense training loads and a strict regimen. However, through regular training, discipline, and systematic work on correcting mistakes, the athlete managed to achieve steady progress. A key principle for him remains the ability to never give up and to keep moving forward despite difficulties.
The most difficult periods in his career were associated with unsuccessful starts, physical fatigue, and the absence of expected results. During such times, he focused on the training process and recovery, which helped him maintain motivation and remain committed to further development.
In the pre-competition period, Bralin Mansur pays special attention to preparation, recovery, and psychological readiness. Before the start, he mentally prepares himself, strives to remain calm and fully focused, considering this an essential condition for a successful performance.
For the athlete, the most significant achievements are not only the awards he has won, but also personal growth, experience, and professional development. Currently, he is coached by two trainers — Alexander Leonidovich Kochetkov and Pavel Andreevich Vorzhev — who help cultivate resilience, self-belief, and a strong drive for high results.
Support from close family and friends plays a major role in his athletic career, serving as an additional source of motivation and confidence. Looking ahead, Bralin Mansur plans to continue developing in sport, enhance his skill level, and compete in higher-level competitions, setting a goal of continuous professional growth.
