From July 16 to July 21 this year, the World Kayak and Canoe Championships will be held in Bulgaria. Rowers from Kazakhstan, under the leadership of the senior coach of the Astana Olympic Training Center Sergei Tiunov, are persistently preparing for this important event and are determined to win.
Sergey Tiunov is an honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a master of sports in kayaking and canoeing with 40 years of experience. He highly appreciates the level of training of his students and their achievements. According to him, the team has already achieved a license for the Olympic Games, which will be held in August. The coach notes that first the athletes will have to fight to reach the finals, and the whole team hopes for victory.
“We have achieved a license for the Olympic Games. The competition starts in August. First we will fight to reach the finals. We hope to win. Preparations are in full swing. Overall, kayaking and canoeing provide enormous benefits to the human body. It differs from some sports in its high energy intensity. Athletes are always outdoors and in good physical shape. All muscles work and learn to maintain balance. In addition, this sport trains the cardiovascular system and opens the respiratory tract,” said Sergei Tiunov.
Among the team members are five champions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including two girls who became world champions in youth under 18 and 23 years old. Over the past two years, Kazakhstani rowers have won seven medals at the world championships, of which three are gold, two silver and two bronze.
These achievements indicate the high level of training and talent of Kazakhstani athletes, as well as the professionalism of their coach. The team continues to train hard to adequately represent Kazakhstan at the world championship and win new medals.
Kayaking and canoeing is not only an exciting sport, but also an excellent way to maintain health. Regular outdoor exercise helps improve physical fitness, strengthen muscles and develop coordination.
The Kazakhstani team is ready for new challenges and confident in its abilities. We wish our athletes good luck and believe that they will bring home even more awards!
