KAZAKH ATHLETE WINS AT THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT “OLYMPIC HOPES”

From September 18 to 21, the traditional international canoe sprint tournament for juniors — “Olympic Hopes” — was held in Racice (Czech Republic). The competition brought together around 1,000 athletes from more than 30 countries, demonstrating a high level of preparation and sporting excellence.

Kazakhstan was also represented at the event. From the Olympic Training Center “Astana,” Ksenia Slominskaya competed in the C-1 200-meter distance and won a silver medal. This is a significant achievement for the young athlete on the international stage.

The Kazakhstan team was led by head coach Mikhail Petrovich Stankeev. The team included three promising athletes:

  1. Ksenia Slominskaya
  2. Savely Lyzhin
  3. Timofey Taranov

The Kazakh athletes represented their country with dignity and showed strong determination to achieve high results.

We congratulate the team members and coaching staff on their successful performance! We wish them further victories and new achievements on the international stage so that the flag of Kazakhstan continues to fly proudly on sports podiums.
