KAZAKH CYCLISTS TOOK PART IN AN INTERNATIONAL RACE IN ITALY

On September 14, 2025, the international road cycling competition Trofeo Buffoni was held in the commune of Forte dei Marmi (Italian Republic), which annually brings together the strongest junior athletes from around the world.

This year, a team from the Olympic Training Center Astana took part in the race. Kazakhstan was represented by four athletes:

The athletes were accompanied by Head Coach V.N. Gorbachevsky and the team mechanic.

For the young Kazakh cyclists, participation in Trofeo Buffoni became an important stage in their international sporting experience and an opportunity to compete against the strongest representatives of world cycling in their age category.

Participation in such events contributes to gaining valuable experience and improving the training level of Kazakh athletes in preparation for future international competitions.
