From May 6 to 11, 2025, the second stage of the Archery World Cup is taking place in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, where athletes from our country are performing successfully.

The competition features 272 athletes from 37 countries. The world’s top archers are competing for podium finishes.

Team members from the Astana Olympic Training Center:

1. Adel Zheksenbinova – Zhetysu Region

2. Viktoriya Lyan – Turkistan Region

3. Andrey Tyutyun – Akmola Region

Competition results:

Women’s team (Adel Zheksenbinova and Viktoriya Lyan) – 5th place
Men’s team (Andrey Tyutyun) – 7th place

It is worth noting that 9 countries were represented in the women’s team competition and 17 in the men’s. The level of competition was very high, and the event was conducted at a top international standard. This is a commendable result for our country’s athletes.

In the coming days, our athletes will continue competing in the mixed team and individual events.
