OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY TRAINING LAUNCHED AT THE “SARYARKA” VELODROME

Occupational health and safety training courses have started at the “Saryarka” Velodrome for the employees of the Olympic Training Center “Astana.” The training also covers industrial and fire safety.

The training is conducted in accordance with Article 182 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which obliges employers to ensure safe working conditions for all employees.

The courses are being held from July 14 to 16, daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. All employees of the center are participating in the training.

The program includes the following topics:

Fire safety minimum;
Occupational safety when working at heights;
Fundamentals of industrial safety;
Safe operation of pressurized equipment;
Electrical safety.

The sessions are conducted by lecturer Meirkhan Nurtazin.

The main goal of the training is to enhance the professional competence of employees and to prevent potential workplace injuries and emergencies.
