On July 25, the Kazakhstan national rifle shooting team began intensive preparations for the 16th Asian Championship in Almaty.

Seventeen athletes and two senior coaches from the Olympic Training Center “Astana” are participating in the training camp. As part of the preparation, the athletes are not only undergoing intensive training sessions but are also attending lectures on various topics and undergoing medical examinations.

On July 30, team members took part in a seminar by Galiya Zhumabayeva on the topic of “Anti-Doping,” which focused on safety and fair play in sports. On July 31, the athletes and coaches attended a special lecture delivered by Roland Yunusmetov, a representative of the International Shooting Sport Federation and an international-category referee.

The training camp will continue until August 8.
