At the Olympics in Paris, the first from Kazakhstan were representatives of archery. Yesterday they competed in the qualifying round.

In the rating round among 64 participants Kazakhstani archers took the following places:

- Dauletkeldy Zhanbyrbai - 22nd place (668 points)

- Ilfat Abdullin - 29th place (663 points)

- Alexander Eremenk - 59th place (640 points).

The playoffs will be held on July 30. In the 1/32 final Ilfat Abdullin will meet with Erik Peters, silver medalist of the World Championship 2023. Dәuletkeldy Zhanbyrbai will compete against George Enriguez. Alexander Eremenko's opponent will be Baptista Addes.

Team competition, which will be attended by 12 countries, will be held on July 29. In 1/8 finals team of Kazakhstan will meet with Italy. The winner of this pair in the 1/4 finals will meet with France.
