One of the athletes who won a license for the Paris Olympics as part of the national team is Maria Brovkova, a representative of the canoeing and kayaking department. She won a license in April at the Asian Championships, which took place in Japan. Maria Brovkova was born into a sports dynasty: her mother and sister were involved in kayaking and canoeing, and currently both are coaching youth.
19-year-old Maria became the world youth champion three times. In addition, she became a prize-winner of several international competitions, demonstrating a high level of skill and determination.
