One of the athletes who won a license for the Paris Olympics as part of the national team is Maria Brovkova, a representative of the canoeing and kayaking department. She won a license in April at the Asian Championships, which took place in Japan. Maria Brovkova was born into a sports dynasty: her mother and sister were involved in kayaking and canoeing, and currently both are coaching youth.

19-year-old Maria became the world youth champion three times. In addition, she became a prize-winner of several international competitions, demonstrating a high level of skill and determination.

Maria began rowing from an early age, inspired by the example of her family. From the very beginning, her training was characterized by a high level of intensity and discipline, which allowed her to quickly reach the international level. Under the guidance of her coaches, including members of her family, Maria achieved significant success in this sport.

Among her achievements are:

· Gold medals at the World Youth Championships (2019, 2020, 2021);

· Silver and bronze medals at international tournaments in Europe and Asia;

· Victories at national championships, which strengthened her position in the Kazakhstan national team.

Today, Maria continues to actively train and prepare for her debut at the Olympic Games in Paris.
