The Athlete's Path: Rufina Iskakova

One of the athletes who received a license for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as part of the national team is Rufina Iskakova, a representative of the kayaking and canoeing department. She won a spot at the Asian Championships in Japan in April. For the 20-year-old athlete, this Olympics will be the first in her sports career. Rufina started kayaking and canoeing at the age of 13. At first she was interested in swimming, but the coach suggested that she try kayaking and canoeing, which was the beginning of her successful sports path.

Rufina Iskakova demonstrated high results on the international stage, winning medals in various competitions. Her perseverance and dedication to the sport allowed her to achieve high sporting heights, including participation in the Olympic Games.

Among her achievements:

· silver medals at Asian championships and international tournaments;

· Victories at national competitions and championships of Kazakhstan;

· Active participation in the training of young athletes in your region.

Today, Rufina continues to train hard and is preparing for her debut at the Olympic Games in Paris. Its goal is not only to participate, but also to achieve significant results that will inspire the younger generation of athletes in Kazakhstan.
