Shooting sports is a type of competition where participants shoot at targets using firearms at various distances. The competitions can take place either outdoors or indoors. In shooting sports, various weapons are used, such as pistols and rifles, and the targets can be both round and shaped, with different sizes and levels of difficulty.

Shooting requires high concentration, precision, and endurance. This sport has been part of the Olympic Games since 1896 for men and since 1980 for women. Competitions include shooting at targets under different conditions, such as standing, sitting, or lying down.

Our athletes show excellent results in shooting sports! In 2024, at the Olympic Games in Paris, Islam Satpaev and Aleksandra Le demonstrated a high level of skill, winning a bronze medal in their discipline. This success is a significant achievement and serves as an example of the pursuit of excellence and dedication to the sport.

The Olympic Training Center "Astana" with 88 athletes in shooting sports continues to actively participate in competitions and win prizes.
