Today, the coaching staff and specialists of the Astana Olympic Training Center (OTC "Astana") took part in a seminar titled “Anti-Doping Program in Modern Sports: Ways and Methods of Preventing Doping Use.” The event was organized by the National Anti-Doping Center of Kazakhstan, with the lecture delivered by Galiya Zhumabayeva — an expert in sports medicine and anti-doping support.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness among coaches, specialists, and staff of sports institutions regarding anti-doping policies. Key topics included: the current state of anti-doping legislation, the list of prohibited substances and methods, rules for completing medical declarations, specifics of using dietary supplements and medications, consequences of anti-doping rule violations, as well as preventive measures and principles for fostering a “clean” sports environment.

Such educational initiatives contribute to building a responsible and professional sports culture where health and fairness remain a priority.
