ROWING ATHLETES HOLD TRAINING CAMP IN TURKESTAN

Since February 21, 2026, a rowing training camp has been taking place in the city of Turkestan as part of preparations for the World Rowing Championships and the Asian Rowing Championships among athletes in the U19 and U23 age categories.

Four athletes from the Olympic Training Center “Astana” are participating in the camp:
Tamara Pervushkina,
Dmitry Anupriev,
Semen Pervushkin,
Meyirzhan Sultan.

The athletes are coached by Aishambek Ibrashev and Mikhail Kovalev.

The training camp will continue until March 9. As part of the camp, systematic work is being carried out to improve the athletes’ technical, tactical, and physical preparation for the upcoming international competitions.
