On July 27, the Saryarka Velodrome hosted the official opening ceremony of the VI Youth Sports Games of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the National Championship for men and women in the omnium discipline, and the National Championship for junior boys and girls.

The opening ceremony was attended by honored guests:

Nurlan Abaevich Yesembaev – Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture,

They congratulated the athletes on the start of the competition and wished them fair play and outstanding athletic achievements.
