Victoria Lyan began practicing archery at the age of 11. At that time, her school was recruiting children for a sports club. The coaches encouraged students to try archery, and together with her classmates, Victoria also signed up for the lessons.

According to the athlete, at first the training sessions seemed rather monotonous, so many of her classmates eventually stopped attending. However, Victoria decided to continue and did not give up on the sport.

About nine months after beginning her training, she participated in her first tournament and won second place. This result became an important turning point for her. The feeling of victory and her first sporting achievements inspired Victoria to continue practicing archery. As the athlete herself notes, this award remains one of the most memorable in her sports career.

Today, Victoria Lyan has been practicing archery for 17 years. During this time, she has made significant progress in the sport, gained extensive experience, and achieved high results. Her hard work and perseverance were recognized with the title of International Class Master of Sports.

According to the athlete, one of the most challenging aspects of archery is the psychological preparation. This sport requires high levels of concentration, endurance, and patience. An athlete must maintain calmness and accuracy, even though many actions during training and competitions are repeated constantly.

Over the years of her sports career, Victoria has worked with four coaches. Each of them contributed to her development and growth as an athlete. Currently, her personal coach is Murat Sagsyzbaevich Buzauov. Victoria notes that she feels his support and professional guidance in preparing for competitions.

The athlete is now actively preparing for the upcoming Asian Games. Her future plans also include participation in the 2028 Olympic Games. Victoria Lyan aims to achieve high results and represent her country with distinction on the international sports stage.
