The Astana Olympic Training Center has commenced annual coaching council sessions, where results are summarized regarding the preparation of the sports reserve — youth, junior, and adolescent national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On November 6, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Director of the Center, Aigul Bektenova. During the session, the coaching staff of the Canoe Sprint division presented a report on the work carried out, athletes’ performances, and plans for the new season.

Reports were presented by the senior coach of the Youth National Team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergey Tiunov, and the senior coach of the Junior and Adolescent National Teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maksim Stankeev.

During the meeting, issues were discussed regarding improving athletes’ competitiveness on the international stage, developing the sport in the regions, strengthening the preparation of the sports reserve, and expanding cooperation with industry specialists for comprehensive athlete support.
